Overview
Measurements of serum thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) by immunoassay are an important component in the diagnosis of thyroid disorders and the subsequent initiation and monitoring of therapy. TSH values in patient samples are typically measured by immunoassay and reported in milli-International Units per litre (mIU/L).
