Who we are & what we do

The Global PrEP Network (GPN) is a WHO-led forum designed to facilitate global dialogue and collaboration between national, international and regional stakeholders, who share a common commitment to the effective implementation of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as part of HIV prevention. Established in 2017 by WHO with Unitaid funding, originally as the Global PrEP Coalition, the GPN is a network open to anyone interested in and working on PrEP. It is administered by a secretariat at WHO and UNAIDS. This secretariat supports the GPN as a forum for dialogue and information exchange by hosting webinars and meetings, providing key information on PrEP, and sharing stories on successes and challenges with regards to PrEP delivery.
