Identifying solutions for countries

WHO provides country-level technical support on best practices to both reduce air pollution and implement mitigation strategies. WHO employs a number of tools in order to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of abatement efforts.

Examples include stakeholder mapping tool, cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analyses and health impact assessments.
