HRP at 50: sexual and reproductive health and rights in epidemic and pandemic preparedness and response

Overview

Since 1972, the UN cosponsored special programme, HRP, has pursued a vision of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. This is the second in a series of stories to share key moments from HRP’s history and the impact of its work on advancing the attainment of SRHR.

From randomized controlled trials and participatory research to improve outcomes for women living with HIV, to empowering researchers and enhancing knowledge translation, to maximizing the potential of digital technologies, HRP has been a leader in using research, data and digital to deliver evidence-based solutions for SRHR.
